These events are part of a series designed to start a conversation about how we teach hospitality as operators and educators. Our goal is to encourage and develop a thirst for excellence in the hospitality industry.
For those that seek excellence.
These events are provided as a service to those working in hospitality seeking to further their careers.

Join us for a day filled with farm fresh produce, inventive cocktails, chef–prepared food, and local beverage producers.
On Monday, June 3rd, we are getting 30 bartenders together on a bus and heading up to Profound Microfarms in Lucas, just 40 minutes north of Dallas. After a short motorcoach ride (and plenty of Community Brewing beer) we will embark on a guided tour/tasting and bartending experience at the farm.
Have you ever sampled the seriously sour leaves of Sorrel? Or experienced the minty anise aroma and instantly refreshing taste of the Agastache Flower? Can you balance the unique bitterness of Parcel? How many different varieties of Mint have you tried (we have 8 growing now)? What about Basil — such as Genovese, Lemon, Lime, Opal, or Mexican? Profound Microfarms grows over 150 varieties of leafy greens, culinary herbs, microgreens, edible flowers, and oddities on just over 2 acres!
Don’t miss out on a chance to see what ‘greenhouse-to-glass’ bartending can really mean, stretch your creativity, meet new friends, and have an amazing time at the farm.
