An open classroom

When the pandemic moved El Centro’s classes online, I opened my beverage-management class to the public. The new format made it possible to invite guests who would have been difficult to bring into the physical classroom.

Practitioners as guests

A coffee class brought in Kathy Altamirano of Counter Culture Coffee. An introduction to beer featured Andrew Huerter of BrainDead Brewing. Both sessions were open to students and the public.
